Samsarin PHP Widget 1.0

I’ve received numerous requests for the Samsarin PHP Widget, so I am happy to announce that is now available here. This widget makes it easy to add PHP code into the sidebar while using Automattic’s Widget plugin.

    Sorry to say, but when widget no 2 is created and dropped on the sidebar, things still look ok. I put in the code and it saves nicely.

    Shame that when opening the site in the browser widget 2 is exactly the same as widget no 1… same code… So something not going right when it should take widget 2,3,4 it takes widget 1

    Thanks for the enthusiasm. Sorry that it does not seem to be working correctly for you. I’m not able to reproduce this on my local setup, but I will try to reproduce elsewhere and I’ll go over the presentation code today. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    I’m having the same problem as JR. This started yesterday, after I upgraded to WP 2.2. The plugin -used- to work wonderfully, but now anything that’s in PHP Widget 1 shows up in every other PHP widget. How odd! I really love this plugin, for now I only have one of them on the sidebar….

    Thank you for posting. I am not using WP 2.2, so that may be the missing piece. I’ll upgrade and see if I can reproduce it.

    Thank you both for posting about the problems with the widget. I was able to track down the problem (introduced in Wordpress 2.2) and resolve it in the Samsarin PHP 1.1 release.
